Marketing Coordinator

We build people, projects and communities and are looking for a talented, creative individual to join our team!

As our Marketing Coordinator you will create and maintain our overall marketing strategy for The Alan Group. In addition to helping our Senior Management team with proposal/presentation creation, you will be responsible for branding, building relationships, networking, communications, marketing/promotional materials, events planning, managing website content, monthly job reporting and much more. Work alongside our executive team, preconstruction, and project delivery teams as we deliver the best pursuit materials that demonstrate the value delivered by The Alan Group.

In this position the successful candidate is "all in" and has an opportunity to do a little bit of everything. Winning new work is always a priority, but we're the best multi-taskers around and have the opportunity to design ads, use photo/video skills, post to social media, run out to a jobsite for a ground breaking or milestone event.

 What we need from you:

  • Passion and a creative spirit, with attention to detail and design capabilities.
  • Outgoing, charismatic, professional.
  • One (1)+ year of relevant industry experience.
  • A college degree, BA, BS in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Works well with minimal supervision and can take direction and run with it.
  • An understanding of construction terminology and delivery methods.
  • An understanding of service or product marketing through responding to client RFQs,
  • RFPs and Presentation skills.
  • Strong oral, writing and editing skills are a necessity.
  • Strong graphics ability is preferred.
  • You will be asked to provide samples of your best work to show us that you can do what you say you can do.
  • Social Media savvy: FB, IG, Twitter, LI
  • Technical capabilities with Power Point and MS Office products are required. Adobe CC (specifically InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator), PP, Prezi, Keynote, preferred.
  • Ability to attend after hours networking and business-related events when needed.
